The Seiling Milling Company — On the National Register of Historic Places

Seiling bills itself as the "Crossroads of Northwest Oklahoma" — and with good reason. U.S. Highways 60, 270, and 281 converge right through town, making Seiling a genuine meeting point for several of the region's major corridors. The town's most storied landmark is the Seiling Milling Company at 4th and Orange Street, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The mill reflects Seiling's deep agricultural heritage dating back to the 1892 Cheyenne-Arapaho Opening.

Also listed on the National Register is the McAllister House at 311 N. Locust Ave. Seiling has maintained its character as a farming and ranching community through more than a century of growth and change — oil discoveries in the 1950s extended fields from Major County into Dewey County, adding industry to the agricultural base. The town also has an airport, a 9-hole golf course, a city park along Seiling Creek, and easy access to nearby Canton Lake to the east and Little Sahara State Park to the north.
